Data Quality Analyst

About the Role

Scanning Solutions is seeking a Data Quality Analyst to help maintain the accuracy, consistency, completeness, and reliability of information within company systems. This position will review data, identify discrepancies, investigate errors, and support improvements to data-quality processes.

Key Responsibilities

* Review business data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.

* Identify duplicate, incomplete, outdated, or inconsistent records.

* Investigate discrepancies and determine appropriate corrections.

* Perform routine data-quality checks using spreadsheets and internal systems.

* Document findings and data-quality activities.

* Work with internal teams to resolve identified data issues.

* Monitor recurring data problems and identify potential causes.

* Prepare reports summarizing data-quality findings and trends.

* Assist with data-cleanup and validation projects.

* Follow established data-management and security procedures.

* Maintain accurate records of corrections and quality-control activities.

* Recommend process improvements that can reduce recurring data errors.

Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, information systems, business, or a related field preferred.

* Experience with data analysis, quality assurance, reporting, or database-related work is helpful.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Excellent attention to detail.

* Experience working with spreadsheets and structured data.

* Comfortable learning database and business software systems.

* Strong written communication and documentation skills.

* Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines independently.
