Position Summary
The Principal of The Stonewall at Warhawks Crossings serves as the chief instructional and administrative leader of the school. The Principal is responsible for leading all aspects of school operations, fostering academic excellence, promoting student success, and developing a positive school culture. This position provides leadership to faculty, staff, students, and families while ensuring the school operates in alignment with the organization’s mission, vision, and strategic goals.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide visionary leadership for all instructional, operational, and administrative functions of the school.
- Supervise, evaluate, mentor, and support teachers, support staff, and school administrators.
- Promote high academic achievement and continuous school improvement.
- Develop and implement school improvement plans aligned with organizational goals.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
- Oversee student discipline and implement effective behavior management practices.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and educational standards.
- Monitor student performance data and implement strategies to improve achievement.
- Recruit, interview, recommend, and onboard qualified faculty and staff.
- Manage school budgets, facilities, and resources in collaboration with executive leadership.
- Build strong partnerships with parents, community organizations, and stakeholders.
- Coordinate school events, extracurricular activities, and community engagement initiatives.
- Conduct faculty meetings, staff evaluations, and professional development programs.
- Prepare reports and provide updates to the Superintendent of Media Schools and the Business Owner & President.
- Promote innovation, technology integration, and excellence in media education.
- Perform additional leadership responsibilities assigned by the Superintendent of Media Schools or the Business Owner & President.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Previous teaching experience required.
- Prior experience in school administration or educational leadership preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead school improvement initiatives and build a positive school culture.
