Key Objectives
- Develop and implement HR strategies that support Mayo Behavioral Health’s goals and values.
- Enhance employee engagement, retention, and professional development.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and best practices.
- Provide leadership and guidance on all HR-related matters to management and staff.
Responsibilities
- Lead recruitment, on boarding, and retention efforts to attract and maintain top talent.
- Manage employee relations by addressing concerns, facilitating conflict resolution, and promoting a positive work environment.
- Develop and administer performance management processes, including evaluations, feedback, and improvement plans.
- Design and deliver training programs focused on professional growth, compliance, and organizational culture.
- Oversee compensation, benefits administration, and payroll coordination in partnership with finance.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate HR records and generate reports to inform leadership decisions.
- Collaborate with leadership to support organizational change and workforce planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably within healthcare or behavioral health settings.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and talent management strategies.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a collaborative and inclusive approach.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
