Responsibilities
- Conduct nutritional assessments and evaluate clients’ dietary needs.
- Develop customized nutrition plans aligned with health conditions, goals, and lifestyle.
- Provide one-on-one counseling, education, and follow-up to support sustainable behavior change.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, staff, or program coordinators as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and compliance with applicable regulations.
- Stay current with best practices in nutrition science and dietary guidelines.
Qualifications
- Required:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field.
- Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential or eligibility for registration.
- Current New York State licensure
- Preferred:
- Experience in clinical, outpatient, community health, or wellness settings.
- Strong interpersonal, motivational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a part-time caseload.
Schedule and Compensation
Job Type F/T (35 hours per week).

Shift : General ShiftRiver Ridge Living Center is seeking a Full-Time Unit Manager (RN) to lead and support staff while ensuring high-quality care for long-term care and sub-acute rehabilitation residents. This role is ideal for a strong clinical leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about resident-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise nursing staff and residents on the assigned unit
- Oversee admissions and readmissions of residents
- Initiate and update individualized care plans
- Conduct rounds with attending physicians
- Complete progress notes, document vital signs, weights, and any pertinent changes in the resident's condition
- Complete and maintain MDS documentation specific to the unit
- Ensure residents’ comfort, safety, dignity, and privacy at all times
- Provide guidance, education, and emotional support to residents and their families
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Experience in long-term care, sub-acute rehab, or acute care (preferred)
- Minimum of two years of supervisory experience
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with residents, families, and team members
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
