Job Description

Position Summary:

As a Business Analyst – Technology Transformation, you will play a critical role in advancing ABC Company’s retail banking modernization efforts. You will serve as the bridge between business operations and technology teams, helping define, design, and deliver innovative digital solutions that improve customer experience, streamline internal processes, and enable scalable growth.

This is a high-impact role suited for a collaborative, tech-savvy problem-solver with strong analytical skills and a passion for driving change through technology.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business leaders and technology partners to identify transformation opportunities aligned with strategic goals.
  • Analyze and document current-state processes and systems, and develop future-state models that incorporate modern digital capabilities.
  • Define detailed business and functional requirements for new technology initiatives including online banking, mobile platforms, AI-powered tools, and automation systems.
  • Translate business needs into user stories, process flows, wireframes, and technical requirements to guide development teams.
  • Act as a key liaison during agile development cycles, ensuring solutions meet business expectations and support user adoption.
  • Lead or support the rollout of transformational projects such as core banking upgrades, digital onboarding, intelligent automation, and self-service channels.
  • Analyze data to uncover insights, trends, and opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Partner with change management teams to support stakeholder communication, training, and adoption strategies.
  • Monitor key metrics to assess the impact of implemented technology and propose enhancements where needed.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 2 years supporting technology-driven initiatives in a banking or financial services environment.
  • Deep understanding of digital banking platforms, customer experience technology, and transformation best practices.
  • Strong knowledge of business analysis frameworks, tools, and techniques (e.g., user stories, BPMN, SWOT, RACI).
  • Hands-on experience with agile methodologies and collaboration tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Miro).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI).


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with banking technology such as core systems (e.g., FIS, Fiserv, Temenos), APIs, cloud infrastructure, or mobile app ecosystems.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance in digital banking (e.g., data privacy, cybersecurity).
  • Professional certifications (CBAP, Agile BA, Scrum Product Owner, or similar) are a plus.
